FOCUS OF WORK/ TYPE OF MEDIATION
1994-2020
While I have mediated many litigated cases, my primary focus for the past 25 years is on what is commonly referred to as classic, community or facilitative mediation, where individuals sit down with one another to work things out, with my help, where the focus is on both resolving the conflict and improving the relationship. I would be happy to speak with you about how I might be able to help you or your organization. When larger groups of people need to work things out, the conflict resolution strategy may first involve a communication skills training to ready the participants to speak with one another in a facilitated meeting, or mediation setting. One-on-one coaching is also available.
